How to enter
Entries for the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers and Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers for 2024 are now closed.
The entry process has been designed to be simple and straightforward for apprenticeship employers to complete – with 3 key questions to answer about apprenticeships at their organisation.
Employers are asked for details of the new apprenticeship starts in the past 12 months, the diversity of these apprentices, and the number of apprentices who successfully completed their apprenticeships in the last year, versus the number who withdrew from an apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship employers also provide background details about their organisation, including the total number of employees within their organisation in England, the number of employees who are currently on apprenticeships, and their Companies House registration number.
For larger employers, the Top 100 entry is made on behalf of the whole organisation, not just one division or business unit, unless these parts of the organisation operate and recruit apprentices entirely separately from each other.
After entering, employers take part in follow-up data checks by email or telephone to confirm the information provided, and the data is independently verified.
The new Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers and Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers for 2024 will be announced in the summer.
